OUR WORK - 2019

Below is a gallery of photos showing the work we’ve done through the year.

In 2018 and 2019, each Friday during the school year we fed 125+ students each week.  During this time we also incorporated leadership training, project and time mgmt, advocacy skills or whatever training students expressed a desire to learn or be exposed to.

“Young Kings and Queens” exhibit Spring 2019 -Hartford Public Library.

Young King & Queens – Spring 2019 –  Teaching our children their history and that they come from and are “kings and  queens” as  they learn about perceptions, stereotypes, marketing, and media.  Student portraits were “updated to reflect an African King or Queen” and students learned the history of the various historical characters.
